Hi all, I’m having very strange issue on my iMac. When I play videos it shows green screen in player. It happens for all videos played in the browser or on video player, see the attached screenshot. It’s weird that YouTube videos are playing fine. Videos in twitter are also showing green. There is no issue with audio though.
I’ve iMac 2015 with MacOS Monterey Version 12.6.3
I was also facing similar issue, rebooting iMac solved my problem.
I already did that, it worked for some time then again it is giving me problems.
You need to reset NVRAM and/or SMC. Follow this thread https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8606724
I just did NVRAM and it seems to work, not sure how long it will work for. I’ll keep you updated. Thanks for the help.
Your iMac is too old, you need to get a new one. It is not going to last too long. A typical iMac can last around 8 years, you are hitting that age limit.
@tyson I’ve paid fortune for this iMac and I’m not replacing it yet I’ll continue to use it till it drops dead.
