How to redirect www to https on discourse installed on Digital Ocean droplet?

It is not easy to redirect www to https in a discourse installation. Discourse has a very weird setup. Normally we can easily redirect www to https by adding redirect rules in .htaccess on Apache. Discourse doesn’t use Apache.
