I was using mailchimp back in their early days when it was not so expensive. It used to be good and easy to use. Few years later it is one of the most pricey services you will even encounter. I stopped using them long time back when they started to increase price. They also closed my account due to inactivity which is the most stupid thing you will ever encounter.

I’m starting sending out newsletters again and I was looking for a better alternative in 2022. Any suggestions?

I’ve found MailChimp to be one of the best newsletter system so you should better stick to it. I’ve tried almost all of the other newsletter providers and none came close to Mailchimp in terms of ease of use. You will have to pay for using any such services or try phplist which is free.
